Quarter Life Crisis
I've been looking through Facebook recently and I've been marveling over the fact that I was able to find a lot of my classmates from elementary and batch mates from high school. In fact, I was pleased to start communicating with some really old, good friends again. At the same time, I've been amazed by the lives they lead today. A few are pretty well-known, a few have remained good looking, a few look really happy living their full lives abroad. This led me to reflect on myself and where I am right now. Is this what is commonly known as Quarter Life Crisis? I know I enjoy my job, I love my family, and there is a lot of opportunity still out there. But sometimes I think about the "what if's" and get depressed. And then I feel guilty for feeling depressed. This is very tiring. I wish I could figure it all out already.

Me too. Time to make choices, soon, I think. What are you willing to give up for what?
I can't get over how many people who pretty much either ignored or hated me in school have suddenly decided they wants to be freinds on Friendster or Facebook.
hahaha!! Thankfully I don't have that problem. It's just strange to see where we all are right now and very disconcerting that there is no way to find out if it's where you should be.
I say enjoy the present and the future will just unfold the way it should be =P
oooh. You think? Very tempting to just leave it to fate. Hmmm...
Not that you leave it entirely to fate but if we deal too much on the what if's, we might miss out on a lot of opportunities (and enjoyment) in the present. It's a good way to reflect on the past though, but then again, the grass is always greener...
It may be cliche but life's what we make it. There are things that we cannot control but we can always control how we react and behave. Positivity! ;)
I think both your comments make sense. And, after a few hours of sleep, I kinda came to the same conclusion- it's good to reflect, assessment keeps you on your toes, life is what you make it, and you can only really control yourself and your reactions. Cheers!
